I received two 45gal Live Oaks from the Rowlett nursery. One is starting to green after two months, the other is completely dead, both watered well. All the other plants and tree are flourishing.

I recommend avoiding this nursery. My experience is with the location in Ft Worth, so it may not be fair to rate this location with a one star rating, but I think the company should be avoided and so I am putting my review here also. Avoid doing business with this nursery. Unfortunately, I have to give a one star rating to Alta-Vista. I purchased four 45 gallon Teddy Bear Magnolias in December 2022. They were beautiful plants. I needed five more for the customer who decided they wanted to line the whole back fence since the four looked so good. I went back to Alta-Vista and they had a new batch in from a different grower. The plants were diseased, but JD (who is no longer with Alta Vista) told me to bring them back if they didn't live. I stupidly thought they could be brought out in the spring with some care. Four of the five died by mid-summer. Pathology lab indicated Anthracnose. And an examination of the twigs showed clear indication of the disease. I took the trees back and was told there is no warranty and JD should never have given his word on it. Bottom line is this nursery sources diseased plants, sells them at full price, makes false promises, and doesn't stan

Excellent Wholesale nursery! Robert is super nice and very helpful getting what I need. The 1 star review is unfair since there are multiple signs that state wholesale only. I will absolutely continue to use Alta Vista!
